Beautiful place!!!

Breath taking views and home, we absolutely loved this place Elvis was really nice , Awesome place to go snorkel my husband even got lots of lobsters for dinner and he catch them all right in front of the property , The home was very cozy Love that they had Netflix and Amazon prime on TV We watched a lot of movies at night . The small ( cons ) dishwasher Worked fine but didn’t clean the dishes So I had to start washing everything by hand every day , and a couple times later afternoon people that came to the beach would climb the rocks in front of the property to jump in the water knowing it was private property I had to go talk to them a couple times , Other than that everything was perfect I would go back in a heartbeat thanks again for sharing this property with as!!!!

We do have people time to time that are curious about our cay and do not realize it is private property on land.

We will address the dishwasher, thanks for letting us know.

Elvis has been with us for 3 years now and has been an asset and a friend.

Your very own private paradise!

Words cannot begin to describe how amazing this home and it's location is, it's truly paradise! The owners have thought of everything that anyone could ever ask for in a vacation. The location of this property is beyond PERFECT! You have your own private beach with a small island to explore in and out of the water. When the wind is blowing, the water on one side of the island has waves that crash into the rock and the other side, which is most visible from the home, is calm and serene. We loved the contrast, you felt like you had two different bodies of water in front of you!

In addition to the amazing water and views, the deck and the pool were fabulous! The owners recently purchased several large umbrellas that you could use for shade if the sun was too much for you. The pool is deeper and larger than it looks in the photos, we spent many hours having fun in it. The yard games (cornhole, spike ball, etc) were great on the days we just lounged around at the home...which was most as it's a hard place to leave!

The home itself, is straight out of a travel magazine! Floor to ceiling views from EVERY SINGLE ROOM in the house. A/C works great, furniture was very comfortable. You will easily feel at home the second you walk in the door!

Eleuthera is a quite island, there aren't a ton of tours but you can definitely find things to do if you want to venture out. We went on a boating excursion with Spanish Wells Ocean Safaris which we highly recommend! You tell them what you want to do and they make it happen. We spent a day on Harbour Island, driving a golf cart around and horseback riding on the beach. Took a few drives to places like Lighthouse Beach and Preacher's Cave as well! Don't miss the Fish Fry in Governors Harbour Friday nights, so much fun!

The restaurants were always good, great views & fresh seafood ! Hours can be tricky, do your homework, a few we wanted to try were closed days we visited. We enjoyed the Rainbow Room (close, has take out and 1/2 off Tuesday nights), Mel's Snack Shack (nothing fancy but a good quick eat) Buccaneer Club, Fishbone in Savannah Sound (tricky to find but worth it) Frigate's in Rock Sound, Unca Gene's in Greg Town and New Sunset Inn.

Only complaint is that we couldn't stay here longer, we had the most amazing vacation and hope to return! If you're looking for a place to get away from work, the city, etc. there is no better home or location . Just go, best decision ever!

Lovely Property

We had a great time at Sayle Point. It’s best for groups/families as it is pretty remote. We enjoyed the tiki bar and pool. A few things to note: there is absolutely no shade in the back after about 1/2 pm which makes it unpleasantly hot. We could see there is a spot for an awning and I saw one in the pictures on the website so I’m not sure why there isn’t any shade. Also, the ac in the front bedroom didn’t work. We weren’t particularly fans of the cleaning lady showing up on our last day at 8 am and essentially staring at us while we tried to enjoy the house for our remaining hours. We had to ask her to please leave the porch so we could take pictures. It was awkward and uncomfortable. Other than that, we really enjoyed the property. It is a lovely place and I would recommend it if you’re looking for privacy and to just hang out.

Its nice to hear you enjoyed your stay and the property. To address the a/c issue you had that unit you need the remote for and must get right up to it for the sensor to pick it up. It does work. I hope Elvis our housewatcher went o er all the details at check in. If theres ever an issue I am always available a call or email away. The housecleaner has been instructed to wait somewhere off the house vicinity if she arrives early. Thankyou for your input. Again overall Im happy you enjoyed our pice of heaven.

Paradise

Surrounded by turquoise blue waters you can only find in the Bahamas, Sayle Point House is truly a slice of paradise. The home is very private yet close to all amenities including Governors Harbour Airport, several restaurants, (Tippy's, Rainbow Inn and Leo Rose were our favorites) grocery stores (Big Rock 5 mins away), an amazing bakery called Cravings and a ton natural attractions. (Queens Bath a must see)

The house is beautifully appointed with close attention made to detail. We wanted for nothing. Quality appliances and utensils made it easy and enjoyable to cook meals in.

Sayle Point House offers loads of activities to ensure fun is had by all. You have access to your own private beach complete with a tiki bar! Activities include a pool, volley ball net, corn hole, kayaks , books, games, fishing poles, snorkel gear and pool toys/floats. If relaxing and reading a book is your idea of a holiday, then swinging in the hammock as you listen to waves crashing against the coral walls is always an option.

All the rooms in the house are spacious, bright and breezy. You have panoramic views of the ocean from every window. There is a large comfy sofa and a big screen TV (Satalite/Internet has strong signal) in the living room attached to the kitchen. The linens are good quality, the beds cozy and there is A/C and ceiling fans in each room to keep you cool at night. Although the breeze from the ocean was lovely too.

Eleuthra is a gorgeous, largely unspoiled island that is easy to navigate as there is only one main road end to end. You will need to rent a car to travel around. You can catch a water taxi from Gun Point Marina, North Eleuthra (approx 40 mins from Sayle Point) to Harbour Island for the day, ($5 each way) From Harbour Island you can also catch a ferry to Spanish Wells.

This was truly a holiday to remember. Thank you to our gracious hosts for sharing their beautiful home. We will always remember our time in Eleuthra at Sayle Point House and hope to return one day soon!

Paradise Found

I could not have found a more perfect place to stay for my vacation. The property was perfect. Very private and had everything you needed, from a private beach, to a lovely wading pool and lawn to play corn hole, hammocks on the beach to relax and plenty of places to soak up the sun and read your favorite book. The views were perfect you didn't even need to leave the property and there were a few days we did not. Elvis the property manager was professional and curteous and was just great. The house was comfortable and well equipped. I'm hoping to come back soon. My only complaint was the cleaning lady came at 7:30 a.m. on the day I was planning on leaving. Since check out is noon I felt this rushed me out of the house and it was a little uncomfortable. I was still in my Pajamas making a cup of tea.

Highly recommend if you are looking for your own slice of paradise on a quiet and private location.

Thank you Cristine for such a lovely review. We try and pay attention to detail as we would like our vacations to be so we can share with others what a special place this is. Truly a place for family and friends to catch up. I apologize for the early time the housekeeper was waiting outside. Often they need to get rides at different times. She will usually wait by the tiki hut until check out. Thank you for the kind words about our house watcher and cleaner they work hard. We would love to have you and your family again anytime.
